Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original research, systematic reviews, short communications, case reports, editorials, and letters to the editor across all fields of health sciences.

All submissions undergo:
1. Editorial screening (1-3 working days)
2. Double-blind peer review by 3-5 expert reviewers (3-4 weeks)
3. Editorial decision (within 35 days of submission)

Required documents:
- Anonymized main manuscript (.docx or .pdf)
- Non-anonymized title page with author info, ORCID, and affiliations
- Cover letter
- Completed reporting checklist (CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, etc.)
- Ethics approval documentation (for human/animal studies)
- Trial registration number (for clinical trials)

ORCID iD is mandatory for all authors. Conflict of interest and funding disclosures must be included.

Submission Preparation Checklist

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.

  • The submission file is in .docx format with continuous line numbering and is anonymized (no author names or identifying information).
  • The Title Page Template has been completed and uploaded as a separate file (non-anonymized).
  • The appropriate article-type template has been used (CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA, CARE, Narrative Review, Short Communication, or Editorial/Commentary).
  • The manuscript follows the AMA Manual of Style, 11th Edition for references and formatting.
  • Word count is within the limits specified for the chosen article type.
  • For studies involving human participants, IRB approval has been obtained and the approval number is documented in the Methods section.
  • For clinical trials, prospective registration in a WHO ICTRP-recognized registry (ClinicalTrials.gov, ISRCTN, etc.) is documented in the abstract.
  • For systematic reviews, the protocol has been registered with PROSPERO (or equivalent) and the registration number is provided.
  • ORCID iD has been provided for the corresponding author (recommended for all authors).
  • A conflict of interest statement has been included for all authors.
  • A funding source statement has been included (or "None" if not applicable).
  • A data availability statement has been included.
  • The appropriate reporting guideline checklist has been completed and uploaded as a supplementary file (CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA, CARE, ARRIVE, or equivalent).
  • AI tool use has been disclosed (or stated as "None") in accordance with ICMJE/AMA guidelines.
  • All figures are high resolution (≥300 dpi) and submitted as separate files.

Original Research

Original research articles presenting novel empirical findings.

Systematic Review

Systematic reviews and meta-analyses following PRISMA 2020 guidelines.

Short Communication

Brief reports of preliminary findings.

Case Report / Case Series

Detailed reports of unusual or instructive clinical cases.

Editorial / Commentary

Invited editorials and commentaries on important topics.
