About the Journal

GHU Open is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Global Healthcare Umbrella Publishing. Established in 2026, the journal aims to provide a rigorous and accessible venue for original research across all fields of health sciences.

Aims and Scope

GHU Open publishes original research, systematic reviews, short communications, case reports, and editorials in the following areas:

Open Access Policy

All articles published in GHU Open are immediately and permanently available online without charge or registration requirement. The journal operates under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing readers to read, download, distribute, and reuse the work, provided proper attribution is given to the original authors.

Peer Review Process

GHU Open employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. The journal commits to providing a first decision within 35 days of submission.

Publication Ethics

GHU Open adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Recommendations. All studies involving human subjects must include IRB approval, and all clinical trials must be prospectively registered in a public registry.

Indexing and Archiving

The journal is committed to long-term preservation through digital archiving. Articles are indexed in Google Scholar, with planned applications to DOAJ, Korea Citation Index (KCI), and Scopus.

Publishing Frequency

GHU Open publishes four issues per year (March, June, September, December). Articles are published online in their final form upon acceptance and assigned to the next available issue.
